I have had both five star and one star experiences with this office. Dr. Jill G, the techs, and the administrative staff have all been AMAZING and incredibly empathetic, accommodating, and understanding to my recently rescued dog with an obvious history of abuse. I am always happy to promote a safe and healthy environment for everyone involved! HOWEVER, unless you plan to see Dr. Jill G herself, i would not waste time with Forest Hills vet. We have now had two increasingly negative experiences with other Vetrinarians at this practice. Today we saw Dr. Shebel who spoke to us like we were children and did not hear any of our concerns. Knowing my dog is anxious, she walked into the room and interacted with my dog in a way that showed she has no experince, confidence, or desire to work with large breeds or dogs with vet anxiety. She verbally agreed to prescribe my dog daily anti-anxiety meds as recommended by a professional in home trainer, for symptoms of dog OCD. She then had admin staff communicate that she felt "uncomfortable" since she refused to examine our dog. Even though we have previously recieved care through this office. I also communicated that a previous as needed anxiety med did not calm my dogs vet anxiety as intended. She prescribed the exact same med and told us to "try this one for next time" as her only solution. So we were not only ignored, we were also blatantly lied to.

The staff are great and very helpful. I had a positive experience with every member of the team that I talked to today. I will continue doing business with them.

Very friendly, give you options instead of just worrying about charging you a bill. Listen to any concerns and questions. Highly recommend for all fur babies!

They have never failed to do what is needed, and don't automatically go for the high price option. They have saved two of my dogs over the years: One after trying unsuccessful non-surgical options surgically, and the other over 20 years ago with medicine. They are also very reasonably priced, in all regards.
